The registration is open to children between the ages of 3 and 18. Groups are primarily based on age but also on the child's proficiency in Swedish.
Classes are held on Fridays from 4:00 PM to 5:55 PM in Willow Glen, San Jose.
Classes are held in Swedish only. The child should be well-versed in the Swedish language and needs to have daily contact with an adult (parent, guardian or similar) who interacts with the child in Swedish.
The school is a non-profit school association run by a board of volunteers. Parental participation in the school's activities is therefore crucial. By registering your child, you agree to assist in the classroom at least once per semester (if necessary) and to participate in the annual meeting, which usually takes place in September/October. As a parent, you are also expected to contribute to our social activities, such as baking semlor, Easter celebrations, Christmas parties, and school graduations, for example by being part of the party committee.

If you want to register more than one child, please make separate registrations and payments. A submitted application form together with a paid tuition fee results in a place in the queue, ordered by payment date. For the 2024-2025 school year (approximately 38 lessons) the tuition fee is $550 per student.
If you want to apply when the school year has already started, please contact us by email first so that we can see if there are spots open in the appropriate group.
The tuition fee is paid via Paypal below (credit cards are accepted). Please note that you need to enter the child's name and year of birth in order for the application to be valid.
